Our final session of the day consists of three breakout groups that will focus on a different part of the real estate fund ecosystem.  These breakout sessions will all take the form of workshops, with a short presentation to start, followed by an opportunity for delegates to put this new found knowledge in to practice.  Delegates should book on one session only.

Fund Structuring & Operations

In this session, delegates will be given an overview of fund structuring and regulatory considerations when setting up new products, including an overview of popular fund structures and jurisdictions.

The session will conclude with a summary of possible structures and their respective benefits/drawbacks.

Nileena is a funds and regulatory lawyer, specialising in open and closed ended real estate funds, co-investments and joint ventures.

She advises fund managers, institutions and sovereign wealth funds on both the corporate and UK regulatory aspects of the structuring, formation and operation of onshore and offshore funds, authorised real estate funds (PAIFs) and other structured real estate investment vehicles.
